About Cake Decorating
Cake decorating is one of the most loved cooking games for all ages, and this version plays straight in your browser. You start right at the beginning: pour the cake batter into the tin and pop it in the oven, and two seconds later your cake is baked and ready to decorate. In a hurry? You can skip the baking and jump straight to decorating.
Then the whole kitchen is yours. Choose a round, square, heart or star cake, or a two or three tier cake like a wedding cake. Pick the flavor of the layers (vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, pistachio, red velvet or rainbow) and the filling color, and you'll see the layers in the slice cut out at the front. Next comes the icing: smooth, swirls, chocolate drips or piped rosettes, in lots of colors.
Last come the toppings: sprinkles, cherries, strawberries, chocolate chips, candy hearts and stars, and you can mix as many as you like. Add thin candles, a number candle for the birthday age or sparklers, plus a topper like a crown, balloons or bunting flags. Light the candles, blow them out with a tap, and save a picture of your cake to show your family and friends.
How to play
- Press “Pour the batter” and watch the cake bake in the oven, or press “Skip”.
- When the cake is baked, press “Let's go” to start decorating.
- Choose from the sections at the side: shape, layers, icing, toppings, candles, topper, and plate & scene.
- In toppings, tap several kinds to add them together, and tap one again to take it off.
- Press “Light candles”, then tap each candle to blow it out.
- When you're done, press “Done! 🎉”, blow out the candles and save a picture of your cake.

Tips to win
- White or pale pink icing with chocolate drips looks really fancy.
- Choose “Naked” icing to show off the cake layers and filling from the outside.
- Make a number candle for a brother's or friend's age, then save the picture and send it on their birthday.
- Can't decide? Press “Random 🎲” for a surprise cake every time.

How do I blow out the candles?
Press “Light candles” under the cake, then tap a lit candle or press “Blow 💨” and they go out one by one. When they're all out, there's a party with colorful confetti.
How do I save a picture of my cake?
Press “Save picture 📸” and a PNG picture of the cake downloads to your device. It's made on your device and is never uploaded anywhere.
What age is the game for?
It suits girls and boys from about 4 years old. Everything works with pictures and colors, with very little reading, and grown-ups enjoy designing a cake just the way they like it too. And in a real kitchen, kids should always bake with a grown-up.
