About Kart Race
Kart Race puts you on a real go-kart track seen from above: grey asphalt lined with red and white barriers, green grass, trees and stands full of cheering fans. You drive the red kart and start at the back of the grid, with 3 other karts ahead of you to overtake in 3 laps.
Before the race there's a 3-2-1 countdown, then “Go!”. At the top of the screen you can see your lap, your place (for example 2 of 4) and the time, and in the corner a mini map shows where every kart is. Drive onto the grass and your kart slows right down, so the secret is to stay on the asphalt, ease off before sharp corners and speed up out of them.
The other karts are driven by the computer along the racing line. They're not easy to beat, but you can definitely do it if you drive smart. Bump into another kart and you get a light cartoon bump with little stars, never a crash. The game is light, runs on computers and phones with no download, and your fastest race time is saved on your device.
How to play
- Press “Play now”, then “Start the race”, and wait for the countdown.
- As soon as “Go!” appears, hit the gas with the up arrow.
- Steer with the left and right arrows and stay on the grey asphalt.
- Slow down a little before each corner and speed up as you come out of it.
- Finish 3 laps and try to cross the finish line in 1st place.
Controls

Tips to win
- Glance at the mini map to see which way the next corner turns.
- Take corners on the inside to shorten the distance and pass the other karts.
- If you end up on the grass, get back onto the asphalt fast: grass slows you down a lot.
- If the screen says “Wrong way”, turn the kart around and drive the right direction.
